Private Great Taste of Fiji and Thermal Mudpool

Your private day of discovery and adventure begins with a pickup from the port in a comfortable, modern air-conditioned vehicle. Your day will include a visit to Natalau Village, a kava ceremony, Fijian delicacies and then relaxing in the thermal mud pools in the Sabeto Valley.

Depart for Natalau Village and start at the feet of Nadis' famous "Sleeping Giant", which lies to the North of Nadi. After approximately 30 minutes in your private transportation you will arrive at the Village and spend two hours with a village tour and activities that will include food preparation and a tasting of Fijian delicacies. Enjoy a Kava ceremony and afterwards prepare and cook food such as root crops, seasonal vegetables and leaves in coconut milk alongside the villagers, then sit down together to share an authentic Fijian food tasting. Visit the school on the grounds for a look into the everyday life of the children.

Next, leaving the village you will make a short drive, approximately 5 minutes, and arrive at the thermal mud pools where you will be provided one hour to learn about the thermal springs and the benefits of mud on your skin, then cover yourself completely with mud. Once it dries you will then dip into a series of warm water pools to cleanse the mud from your body and reveal soft, silky skin.

Afterwards, you will make your way back to the port and pier area as you reminisce about this extra special day spent on your private tour that allows you a personal and one-on-one experience, giving you an intimate look into the life of the people of the Fijian Islands.
